Overture

Overture Convention Center
Located in Turin, Italy, the Overture Convention Center represents a bold exploration of parametric design and adaptive architecture. This 2022 project challenges conventional notions of event spaces by creating a dynamic structure that responds to program, season, and user needs through intelligent building systems and flexible spatial configurations.
Parametric Facade System
The building's most striking feature is its parametric facade system, which adjusts throughout the day to optimize natural lighting, thermal comfort, and acoustic conditions. This responsive skin creates an ever-changing appearance while maintaining optimal internal environments for diverse event types, from intimate conferences to large-scale exhibitions.
Interior Flexibility
Inside, modular spaces can be rapidly reconfigured through moveable partitions, adjustable ceiling systems, and integrated technology infrastructure. The design prioritizes adaptability, allowing the venue to accommodate everything from corporate meetings to cultural performances with minimal setup time and maximum spatial efficiency.
Urban Integration
The convention center serves as a catalyst for urban regeneration, creating new connections between Turin's historic center and emerging districts. Public spaces, retail programs, and cultural venues extend the building's impact beyond its primary function, contributing to the city's cultural and economic vitality.
